Sorano Hotel in Tachikawa is a little outside of central Tokyo taking just under an hour to get to from Tokyo station via the Chuo line. I visited back in February and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If you feel like staying somewhere a little more quiet to central Tokyo, this would be a good place to start. There are a number of rooms ranging from standard double rooms to suites over looking Mount Fuji. You can also rent rooms that allow pets. Further information can be found in the link below:
