We stayed at HOSHINOYA Karuizawa for 3 nights.
On the third day, I made a reservation for “beef shabu-shabu” at Japanese restaurant Kasuke.

Seasonal vegetables were on top of soy milk tofu.

Small sushi was lined up.

There were two types of sauce, ponzu sauce and sesame sauce.
I lightly boiled thinly sliced beef and ate it with ponzu and sesame sauce.
I thought the combination of tender beef and rich sesame sauce was exquisite.
Along with the beef, I also ate mushrooms, green onions, mizuna, Chinese cabbage, carrots, daikon radish, and rice cakes.

After eating shabu-shabu, I warmed up boiled soba in a pot.
I put green onions on the soba and ate it deliciously.
[Fruits]
Fruits were Hyuganatsu, oranges and pineapples.
I was very satisfied with the extravagant beef shabu-shabu where I could fully enjoy the deliciousness of beef.
